I keep looking at this and cringing. The last two days have been miserable. This kid is too big for me, I've got ribs popped out in my back, it feels like my hips and pelvis are going to break every time I stand up, and to roll over in bed leaves me winded and shaky, let alone trying to get up to pee! Every time Odin moves I just picture my insides turning black and blue. My doctors appointment is first thing Tuesday morning and it seems years away. I have to schedule to get this kid out in the next couple days or I will be bed ridden and useless. Wahh. Besides all this, the anticipation to meet him is KILLING us. It is the only thing Dust and I talk about and we are so anxious!
Well, it looks like our little pumpkin ain't so little. The doc did a thorough exam on me today and estimates Odin to be about 9 lbs! She thinks that a possible reason he hasn't dropped is because he is too big for my pelvis. Mind you I'm 5'3" and my pre prego weight was 100 lbs. I am at a whopping 147 now and really feeling it through my entire body. The aches and pains are horrendous. I'm truly hoping that her estimation is off and that he's not quite that big because she is leaning toward scheduling a cesarean. If nothing has happened by next week we will talk more about that decision. Ug. I cannot wait any longer!!!
Still pregnant. Just sitting here waiting patiently for this baby to make his move. Why do I have this feeling he is very stubborn like his daddy and I? Are we going to have to force him out? I am officially done with work for a few weeks and I already don't know what to do with myself. I'm making myself crazy over thinking everything.
Odin will be sharing a room with us until we save some more money and let me tell you, is it a tight squeeze in here! My best friend, Aunty KK, is dear friends with Tom Delonge from Blink 182 and his wife, Jennifer, has an amazing furniture line for kids and babies. KK and her mom were sweet enough to get us a custom glider from her and we get to pick it up tomorrow! I am thrilled, but making room for it has been quite the project. I must say, I don't care how tight our living quarters are, I am so excited to rock and feed the little man to sleep in it all day. Dreamy.
Pretty sweet, ours will be steel gray with black piping
